Welcome to our Through These Gates Documentary Film Project

Husker fans are the greatest fans in college football, and this documentary film will explore and express why.

I was born in Lincoln in 1980, and watched the football program flourish during the 1990’s, and change over the years. Many of my friends and family have left Nebraska for various reasons, myself included. I left for Los Angeles to work in the film industry, and everywhere I go I seem to be identified as a Cornhusker. While filming a documentary in the Himalayan mountains recently I met a husker fan from Omaha in a quiet buddhist monastery. People don’t need to understand or care about football to know that Nebraskans are die-hard Cornhuskers. I find a certain pride in that and I want to explore that pride in this documentary film.

I want to make the rest of the world see us through our eyes. Im going to take the audience on the journey through the Sea of Red!
